What does VA content tell me?
It is the weight percentage of vinyl acetate in the copolymer. In practice, it helps you compare softness, polarity and compatibility between grades.
EVA product portfolio
Start with the product you are making. Then use VA content and melt flow to find the grades worth putting on your line or into your lab.
VA content affects softness, polarity and compatibility. Melt flow changes how the resin behaves in processing. Those two numbers can shorten a long list, but the end product and the equipment still decide which grades deserve a trial.
The table below is a navigation aid, not a sales specification. Before you qualify a grade, ask for the current TDS and SDS, the applicable test method, regional availability and a representative sample.
Grade shortlist
Use these numbers to decide what is worth testing. For specifications, test methods and current availability, ask for the latest TDS for the exact grade.

No. They are reference values for making a shortlist. Use the current TDS for specification limits, conditioning and test method.
